How do I book a session or wedding?
It all starts with my inquiry form! Once you reach out, I'll be in touch to chat about what you're looking for, answer any questions you have, and help you figure out the best fit. Once we're ready to move forward, I'll send over your contract and invoice. Your date is officially reserved once your contract is signed and your retainer is paid!
Where are you based, and do you travel?
I'm based in Castle Rock, Colorado, just south of Denver, and I love exploring different locations throughout Colorado! For Colorado sessions, travel fees are based on mileage and will be discussed before booking.
I'm also available for out-of-state weddings and sessions! For locations outside of Colorado, I offer a flat travel fee of $1,500. If you're dreaming of having me photograph your story somewhere beyond Colorado, I'd love to hear about it!
How do payments work?
Once you're ready to book, I'll send over your contract and invoice. Your date is reserved once your contract is signed and your 20% non refundable retainer is paid. Any remaining payments and their due dates will be outlined in your agreement, so you'll know exactly what to expect.
How long does it take to get our photos?
Wedding galleries are delivered within 8 weeks, and portrait galleries within 3 weeks.
Your images will be delivered through an online gallery, making it easy to view, download, and share your photos with family and friends. You can revisit your gallery whenever you want to relive those memories!
What should we wear for our session?
Wear something that feels like YOU! I always recommend choosing outfits you feel comfortable and confident in, while keeping the location and overall vibe of your session in mind. If you're planning outfits with someone else, coordinating colors and complementary styles usually photograph beautifully. And if you need a little help deciding, I'm always happy to offer suggestions!
What if we're awkward in front of the camera?
Trust me, you don't have to know how to pose! Whether we're taking senior portraits, couples photos, or wedding portraits, I'll guide you throughout the experience so you never feel like you're left wondering what to do. My goal is for you to feel comfortable, have fun, and get to be yourselves
Do you help us choose a location?
Yes! If you have a location in mind, I'd love to hear about it. If you're not sure where to go, that's okay, too! I have a location guide to help you decide!
What happens if the weather doesn't cooperate?
Colorado weather can be a little unpredictable! If the weather isn't looking great for your session, we'll chat about the best option, whether that's adjusting the time, choosing a new location, or rescheduling when appropriate. For weddings, I'll work with you to make the most of the conditions and adjust our portrait plans as needed.
What if we need to reschedule?
I understand that sometimes things come up! If you need to reschedule, just reach out as soon as possible, and we'll talk through the options. Rescheduling is subject to availability and the terms outlined in your photography agreement.
How far in advance should we book?
I recommend booking as early as possible, especially for busy seasons. For weddings, 6–12 months in advance is ideal. For other sessions, 2–4 weeks is usually sufficient.
